OPPO has recently officially unveiled ColorOS 15, a new version of its proprietary Android operating system. ColorOS 15 is designed to improve performance and provide an even better user experience. The system received a number of advanced features based on Microsoft’s artificial intelligence, an updated design and improved security.

Key features of ColorOS 15
ColorOS 15 offers an updated home screen customization engine that allows users to gain more control over the arrangement of widgets, icons, and themes. Adaptive wallpapers created by AI automatically adjust to user preferences, creating a unique style.
Improved performance with HyperEngine 5.0
The operating system utilizes OPPO’s new HyperEngine 5.0, which optimizes resource allocation for smooth multitasking and a better gaming experience. Testing has shown a 15% increase in app launch speed and a 10% reduction in battery consumption during heavy use.
Always-On Display 2.0
The updated Always-On Display supports interactive animations and contextual widgets, including real-time control of music, calendar events, and notifications, without the need to unlock the phone.
Enhanced privacy and security
Updated features such as Private Safe 3.0 and AI-Powered App Permissions help users manage sensitive data more efficiently and receive notifications in case of unauthorized use of applications. The system fully complies with the latest global privacy standards.
Integration between devices
ColorOS 15 provides seamless connectivity and synchronization between OPPO smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, and other devices. The new Smart MirrorLink feature simplifies file sharing, screen mirroring, and notification synchronization.

Voice translation and document translation
OPPO Docs and the Voice Translate app integrate Microsoft’s artificial intelligence technology to deliver accurate, real-time translation. These tools break down language barriers in seconds, offering unparalleled convenience for international communication.
Audio transcription
The new Voice Recorder and Notes apps now have an AI audio transcription feature that provides accurate and efficient conversion of spoken words into text. These tools help users stay organized and save time.
Availability and compatibility
ColorOS 15 with advanced AI capabilities from Microsoft has debuted on the global launch of OPPO Find X8 series, and the worldwide rollout will begin on January 20, 2025, starting with Find X7 Pro, Reno 11 series, and select A series devices. OPPO is implementing a gradual rollout to ensure compatibility with a wide range of devices.
