Oppo seems to be preparing a new tablet for the global market, dubbed the Oppo Pad Neo. The tablet received NBTC certification back in September, after which it was included in the IMDA and SIRIM lists. Now the same device has appeared on the Bluetooth SIG certification website.
The Bluetooth SIG list reveals the model number (OPD2303) and confirms that the tablet supports Bluetooth 5.2.
Oppo-Pad-Neo-Bluetooth-SIG-CertificationInterestingly, the OnePlus Pad Go has the same model number, which suggests that the Pad Neo may be a rebranded version for the global market.
This is not the first time Oppo has rebranded OnePlus devices. They recently launched the Oppo Pad Air 2 in China, which is also a rebranding of the OnePlus Pad Go.
Therefore, we can expect similar specifications for the Pad Neo. Most likely, it will be an 11.35-inch LCD display with a 2.4K resolution and 7:5 aspect ratio. It may be equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage based on the Helio G99 chipset. It will also likely have a large 8,000 mAh battery with USB-C (USB 2.0 standard) charging capability.
As for the cameras, an 8-megapixel front camera and a rear camera are expected. Four speakers with Dolby Atmos support can be installed on board to create an immersive experience. The software may include ColorOS based on Android 14, with a microSD card slot for expandable storage.
Oppo has not announced an official launch date for the Pad Neo on the global market. However, since the device has appeared on various certifications, the launch may be imminent. We might even see it together with the Oppo Reno 11 series, which launched in China back in November.
