OPPO Pad 3 key details leaked: 16GB RAM, 3K display and more

OPPO is reportedly working on a successor to last year’s OPPO Pad 2. Earlier this month, Digital Chat Station revealed the processor that will power the OPPO Pad 3, as well as an estimated launch schedule. Now, the authoritative resource has revealed more details about the upcoming tablet on the Weibo microblogging platform. They concern its design, RAM, and display resolution.

New details about OPPO Pad 3 leaked

Digital Chat Station reports that OPPO Pad 3 will have an all-metal body. The exact screen size remains unclear, but the source mentions that it will be a regular tablet with a large screen. Moreover, it will have a screen resolution of 3 thousand pixels. The device is likely to offer a panoramic virtual screen, which can be found on the Find N3 (review). It will create the illusion of a larger display when viewed up close.

According to DCS, the OPPO Pad 3 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It will be paired with 16GB of RAM for powerful performance and seamless multitasking. We can expect more RAM and storage configurations at launch. If the report does turn out to be true, the upcoming Pad 3 could receive significant upgrades over its predecessor.

The OPPO Pad 3 is expected to be released this quarter, i.e. between April and June according to DCS. It will first appear in China, and in the second quarter of this year, according to rumors, an updated OnePlus Pad 2 will appear in the form of a tablet on global markets.
