The Oppo Find X7 series of smartphones, which debuted in January this year, has remained an exclusive to the Chinese market. But what about the Find X8 lineup? Will it debut outside of China? A new SmartPrix report has revealed the global launch schedule for the Find X8 series.
Reports have revealed that the Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Pro will be launched in China this October. As for the Find X8 Ultra, it is expected to be available in the home market in January 2025.
According to the report, the Find X8 will tentatively enter the global market in October. However, the report remains uncertain about the global release of the X8 Pro. Nevertheless, both devices are expected to enter markets outside of China. The report does not say anything about the global launch of the Find X8 Ultra.
The Find X8 and X8 Pro will be powered by the Dimensity 9400 chipset, which is expected to launch in October this year. According to the report, the Find X8 will have a 6.7-inch flat OLED display, while the Find X8 Pro will have a 6.8-inch micro-curved OLED screen. Both displays support 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. This report contradicts recent claims that the Find X8 will have a smaller 6.5 or 6.6-inch screen.
The Find X8 will have a 5600 mAh battery and the Find X8 Pro will have a 5700 mAh battery. Both devices will support 100W wired charging. No word on the wireless charging capabilities of the X8 duo.
The rear camera of the Find X8 will have a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 3x periscope telephoto camera. The Pro model, on the other hand, will have a 50-megapixel primary camera, 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, 3x telephoto lens, and 10x periscope telephoto camera.
The Find X8 and X8 Pro will feature a glass back. Both devices are expected to be available in black, white, and blue colors. The standard model may also be available in pink.
