Oppo will unveil the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4-powered Find X8 Ultra in January 2025. The device is also expected to enter the global market, unlike its predecessor, which remained exclusive to China. A new leak on Weibo has revealed the battery size and charging capabilities of the X8 Ultra.
The leak above shows a Digital Chat Station user discussing the upcoming Qualcomm SM8750 chip smartphone, not the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. The emoji in the post means a reference to the upcoming Oppo phone. Thus, we can conclude that the leak is discussing the Find X8 Ultra.
According to the leak, the Find X8 Ultra will feature a 6,000 mAh battery with 100W wired charging support. The device will also support 50W wireless charging.
According to previous leaks, the Find X8 Ultra will have a 6.78-inch OLED panel with a micro-curved design. The screen will have a resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The display will feature an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor for security.
The Find X8 Ultra is expected to run on Android 15 based on ColorOS 15. Like the Find X7 Ultra, the successor model will also have a quad camera on the back. Thus, it will have a pair of periscope telephoto cameras.
The Find X8 and Find X8 Pro models, which are expected to launch in October this year, will have the Dimensity 9400 chip. The X8 will have a smaller flat screen and a triple camera, while the X8 Pro will have a larger micro-curved display and four cameras with two periscope telephoto cameras.
