OPPO is working on a new smartphone called the A80. It looks like this is the OPPO A3 Vitality Edition or Energy Edition that is available in China. It looks like OPPO is going to release this smartphone to the global market under the name OPPO A80. The OPPO A80 5G will be launched as a mid-range 5G phone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset.

We now have the European pricing for the OPPO A80 5G, courtesy of user Sudhanshu. This smartphone will cost 249 euros for the 8GB+256GB version. It is not yet confirmed whether the smartphone will be available in other markets. Perhaps there will be more options.
OPPO A80 5G design, colors
OPPO A80 5G has flat edges with a perforated display. The smartphone has a dual camera on the back with an LED ring just below the sensors. The OPPO A80 5G looks the same as the OPPO A3 Vitality Edition. It has been spotted in black and purple colors which are already available in China. It is also available in green color.

OPPO A80 5G is equipped with a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 1000 nits. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It has a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel portrait lens on the back. For selfies, OPPO A80 5G has an 8-megapixel front camera.
The new OPPO smartphone is powered by a 5,100 mAh battery with 45W SuperVOOC fast charging. In terms of software, it runs on ColorOS 14.0.1 with Android 14 on top. With the OPPO A80 5G, you also get a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and IP54 dust and water protection. It also has a 300 percent volume boost mode, NFC, Wi-Fi 5, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.
OPPO A80 5G is equipped with artificial intelligence features including AI Eraser, AI LinkBoost, and AI Charging Protection. Based on these specifications, we can confirm that the OPPO A80 5G is indeed a rebranded OPPO A3 Vitality Edition. With so much information already leaked about the smartphone, we expect OPPO to announce it soon.
