OnePlus is planning to launch the OnePlus Pad Pro later today in China (June 27, 2024). This tablet model will have improved hardware compared to the existing OnePlus Pad. But ahead of its official launch, a fresh leak has revealed live images of this upcoming tablet.
The latest leak comes from a well-known Digital Chat Station informant who shared the images on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging site). Looking at these images, we can see that the OnePlus Pad Pro looks quite similar to the base Pad model. It also retains the premium all-metal body. In other words, the only update is to the inside. The placement of the selfie and rear camera is basically identical, and the light green color is back.
For those who are not aware, the Chinese brand intends to introduce a number of products in China with the OnePlus Pad Pro. Based on what we know, this model will be equipped with a tall 12.1-inch LCD panel with a 3K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 7:5 aspect ratio. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC is expected to be installed under the hood, paired with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. A massive 8510 mAh battery can power the device, and it can support 67W wired fast charging.
According to rumors, OnePlus Pad Pro will be available with four memory configurations. These are 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 16GB + 512GB. The tablet has an updated keyboard that also supports NFC, which can be seen in the live images. As for the optics, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front and a 13-megapixel camera on the back.
