OnePlus Pad Lite appears in renders ahead of launch

OnePlus seems to be filling in the gaps in its tablet lineup. After unveiling its flagship Pad 3 tablet just a week ago, new renders show what is expected to be a cheaper alternative called the OnePlus Pad Lite.

The design, specs, and accessories of this unannounced tablet were revealed by 91mobiles in collaboration with leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks).

As the name suggests, the Pad Lite is not trying to compete with high-end models. It follows the previous model, the OnePlus Pad Go, both in design and in the target market.

Visually, it’s a standard affair. It has flat sides, thin bezels, and a centered round rear camera module. It is reported that a cover case with a built-in stand is planned. The tablet is expected to be available in a single Aero Blue color.

The Pad Lite is said to be powered by a MediaTek Helio G100 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The screen is expected to be an 11-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a refresh rate of 90 Hz.

As for the camera specs, it will reportedly have two 5-megapixel sensors – one on the front and one on the back. This is a downgrade from the 8-megapixel pair that was on the predecessor. However, tablets aren’t known for their cameras, so this likely won’t be a deciding factor for the Pad Lite’s audience.

One area where the Pad Lite seems to have improved over the Pad Go is in battery capacity. The new model will reportedly have a 9,340 mAh battery, up from 8,000 mAh.

The device will also reportedly ship with Android 15 and OxygenOS 15.0.1 out of the box. It measures 254.9 x 166.5 x 7.4 mm and weighs 539 g.

The leak does not reveal anything about the price or release date. We’ll keep you posted if any news emerges.
