OnePlus is expected to announce OnePlus Ace 3 on January 4, 2024 in China, although there is no official confirmation of the launch date yet. Despite the intrigue surrounding the launch date, OnePlus offered a glimpse of the device’s design with a teaser video, presenting an attractive Sand Gold color option.
OnePlus Ace 3 design revealed
The video highlights the design of the back of the OnePlus Ace 3, showing the round camera module. On the right side there is a volume rocker and power button, and on the left side there is a notification slider. On the top edge of the Ace 3 are a microphone, an infrared blaster, and a speaker hole. It is noteworthy that the teaser refrains from revealing the design of the front panel of the smartphone, and at the moment OnePlus has not provided any official details regarding the device’s specifications.
Specifications of OnePlus Ace 3 (rumored)
According to reports, the OnePlus Ace 3 will feature a 6.78-inch OLED screen with curved edges that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For security, it will have an in-screen fingerprint scanner and will run Android 14 based on ColorOS 14.
The Ace 3 will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 12GB/16GB LPDDR5x RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 storage, and a 5500mAh battery with 100W charging capability. On the front, there will be a 16-megapixel selfie camera, and on the back, there will be a 50-megapixel IMX890 main camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Most likely, it will go on sale at a starting price of 3299 yuan (~460 USD).
Ace 3 will be launched globally as OnePlus 12R on January 23. This event will feature the OnePlus 12 and some other devices.
