The Mac version features 11 new OCR languages, advanced layout recognition for RTF output and an improved OCR recognition of special characters. The mobile version for iPhone includes several user interface improvements, all new interface translations as well as vastly improved OCR recognition, accuracy and stability.
OCRKit uses the OCR engine from award-winning ExactScan Pro. ExactScan Pro is popular for being a modern and easy to use Mac OS X scanning solution with built-in drivers for over 200 document scanners. ExactCODE continues to provide automated and intelligent document processing for Mac OS X.
