NVIDIA RTX 50 series cards will be presented earlier than expected

NVIDIA’s RTX 50 series may be introduced as early as 2024. The first NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 was expected to be shown at CES in 2025, but rumors indicate that the RTX 50 series cards could be shown in the fourth quarter of 2024, and NVIDIA partners expect the RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 to be introduced in 2024.

A user known for NVIDIA-related insider leaks on Twitter, with the account @kopite7kimi, was asked when NVIDIA’s next-generation GPUs will be introduced and replied: “At the end of the year. We can expect the RTX 50 series GPUs to be introduced by the end of this year.”

According to a recent article from IT Home, the first GPUs that NVIDIA is likely to introduce in 2024 will be high-end GPUs. First, the RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 are expected to be unveiled, followed by the RTX 5060 or RTX 5070. Given NVIDIA’s recent investment in AI-related features, if the RTX 50 series cards are introduced this year, shipments are also expected to increase.

Initial leaks point to this, but of course, it doesn’t mean that NVIDIA will introduce the RTX 50 series this year. However, if the rumors are true, we might see the presentation of high-end cards belonging to the RTX 50 series in the fourth quarter of 2024.
