Slovakia has become the sixth country in the European Union to launch Nova Post offices and courier delivery.
The first branch of Nova Post
“Our main task is to logistically connect European countries with Ukraine. We want Ukrainians in Slovakia to receive the service they are used to at home in Ukraine. And Slovak business has the opportunity to enter the Ukrainian market, where there are 30 million active consumers,” says Alexander Lisovec, CEO of Nova Post Europe.
According to him, the company has already invested more than 100 thousand euros in entering the Slovak market and plans to continue developing its own network there, as well as provide delivery to partner post offices throughout the country.
The first Nova Post branch is located at Dunajská 7495/14, 82108, Bratislava. Private customers and businesses can receive documents, parcels and cargo up to 100 kg from Ukraine and send them to Ukraine. The branch is open daily.
Rapprochement of countries
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Slovakia Myroslav Kastran was the guest of honor at the opening and was the first to send a greeting card to Ukraine.
“Nova Post’s entry into the Slovak market is another step in bringing our countries closer together, in joining forces and finding common interests,” said Ambassador Miroslav Kastran during the opening ceremony. – “The fact that the company continues to open branches and post offices in Ukraine and abroad even during the war, helping hundreds of thousands of people with its service, proves how responsible Ukrainian business is.
