Nothing Phone (2a) Plus image leaked ahead of July 31 launch

Nothing recently confirmed that it will launch the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus smartphone in India on July 31. While the brand revealed some details, including the device’s chipset, its design remained a mystery. However, the latest report from SmarPrix, which contains a leaked image of the device, has revealed its entire rear panel design.

Nothing Phone (2a) design revealed

The merged image above shows that the design of the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus is almost identical to that of the Phone (2a). The phone has a silver-gray dual-tone finish and a horizontally positioned dual-camera system.

Three glyph LEDs adorn the round module surrounding the camera unit. The report also notes that the retail box design is identical to the Phone (2a). The only noticeable difference seems to be the addition of the text “Plus” to the device name.

Nothing Phone (2a) Plus specifications (rumored)

The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus reportedly features a 6.7-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is also expected to have a peak brightness of 1300 nits, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Under the hood, the Phone (2a) Plus is powered by the Dimensity 7350 Pro chipset. It is expected to be available in variants with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, such as 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. It will probably be equipped with a 5000 mAh battery with 50W wired charging.

The Phone (2a) Plus is expected to feature a pair of 50-megapixel cameras on the back. For selfies, it may have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
