NITS RKP, Peresvet, has completed tests of the captive balloon which is supposed to become a key element of new-generation relay system.
The balloon called Peresvet produced by Design Bureau of Dolgoprudny with the help of brand-new technological solutions is made of modern materials. High air tightness of the surface allows the balloon to remain up to 3000 m high with equipment of 200 kg within 15 days.
During the tests, Peresvet’s parameters have been confirmed, NITS PAO informs.
