Nintendo has officially revealed the first Expansion Pass for its popular title, Fire Emblem Engage. This comprehensive DLC package, priced at 219 Hong Kong Dollars (approximately $28 USD), will roll out in three distinct waves, with content slated for release today, December 31st, 2026, and December 31st, 2027.
Wave 1: Immediate Access to Legacy Weapons
The first wave of downloadable content is available starting today. Upon completing a specific mission in the main story of Fire Emblem Engage, players will be rewarded with the ‘Luin’ weapon, a callback to the ‘Hero’s Relics’ featured in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. This addition offers a nostalgic nod to fans of the series and provides a powerful new tool for their current playthrough.
Wave 2: New Allies and Cosmetic Upgrades
The second wave of content is scheduled for release by December 31st, 2026. This installment promises the addition of new allies who will join the ‘Divine Dragon’s’ cause in the ‘Fell Xenologue’ chapter. Specifically, deities ruling the continent of Tétra-Kör will become companions after meeting certain criteria. Additionally, players can look forward to unlocking four special outfits that will alter the appearance of their characters: the ‘Sun God Festival Attire’, the ‘Agartha Uniform’, the ‘Hal-Hal Attire’, and the ‘Gladiator King Outfit’. These cosmetic changes allow for a personalized visual experience for the game’s roster.
Wave 3: Expanded Story Content
The final wave, slated for release by December 31st, 2027, will introduce a significant expansion to the game’s narrative. This third piece of downloadable content will add a series of new story chapters, allowing players to experience fresh adventures featuring characters from the main game. These new tales will focus on the regions of Betlan, Tanelimuun, Oruhelu, and Enata-Nalia, delving deeper into their lore and the roles they play within the broader Fire Emblem Engage universe.
