The National Commission for Regulating Communications (NCRC) has urged the Golden Telecom company and the Ukrtelecom company to arrive agreement on interconnect until April 12, 2010.
Ukrainian News learned this from resolution No.149 of the NCRC dated 1 April 2010.
According to the text of the resolution, members of the NCRC at their meeting have considered an appeal from the operators concerning an out-of-court regulation of the disputes with the signing of the interconnect agreement and found that the effect of the previous agreement dated 4 September 2009 has expired.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Golden Telecom and the Ukrainian Radio Systems company renders communications services under the Beeline brand.
The National Commission for Regulating Communications is a central body of the executive branch of the government regulating the sector of telecommunications and postal service. It also distributes radio frequencies and phone numbering.
