MiHoYo, the acclaimed game developer behind Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, has officially opened pre-registration for two of its upcoming titles: Honkai: Pair of Destinies and Starry Valley. The pre-registration is available exclusively through the MiHoYo Launcher, the company’s integrated PC gaming platform.
How to Pre-register
Players eager to get their hands on these new games can follow a straightforward process. First, they need to ensure their MiHoYo Launcher is updated to the latest version. Once updated, navigating to the ‘All Games’ section within the launcher will allow users to find and select either Honkai: Pair of Destinies or Starry Valley. Clicking ‘Pre-register Now’ and logging in with their MiHoYo Account will complete the registration. A convenient feature available upon successful pre-registration is the option to enable ‘Automatic Download Upon Release,’ ensuring the game begins downloading as soon as it becomes available.
Honkai: Pair of Destinies
Honkai: Pair of Destinies is described as a monster-raising adventure strategy game. Developed by MiHoYo, it blends elements of creature cultivation, auto-battle strategy, and open-world exploration. Players step into the role of a planar traveler who has escaped confinement, forging connections with unique creatures and engaging in ‘destiny duels.’ The game has seen several testing phases, with dates listed as September 17, 2025, February 26, 2026, and July 9, 2026. However, an official release date for the public launch has not yet been announced.
Starry Valley
Starry Valley marks MiHoYo’s debut in the life simulation genre on a ‘small planet.’ The game is slated for a full public launch in the Winter of 2026 and will feature cross-platform play and progression across PC, iOS, and Android devices. Centered around the concept of ‘owning your own planet,’ players will engage in a variety of activities, including farming, fishing, beachcombing, cooking, home building, and interacting with charming ‘fluffy neighbors.’
Starry Valley recently made an appearance at Gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live. Its final test, known as the ‘Connection Test,’ is scheduled to begin on September 20th. This will be a limited, save-data-wiping, and paid beta test. Player recruitment for this test runs from now until September 14th at 0:00.
System Requirements for Connection Test
The ‘Connection Test’ will be available on both PC (Windows) and mobile platforms (Android/iOS). For PC, the minimum requirements include an RTX 2060 or higher graphics card, 16GB of RAM, and Windows 10 or later. iOS users will need an iPhone XS or later (excluding iPhone XR) running iOS 14.0 or higher. Android devices require a Snapdragon 855, Dimensity 1000, Kirin 990, or a superior processor, with at least 6GB of RAM and running Android 9.0 or later.
