Tencent’s open-world creature-collecting game, Locke’s Kingdom: World, is set to make its international debut with a closed beta test on October 27th. The announcement came during Gamescom 2026 from Tencent’s More Fun Studio Group, revealing that the game will be available across multiple platforms including iOS, Google Play, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Windows, Steam, and Epic Games Store.

The official website (rocokingdom.com) is now open for international beta sign-ups, and the game has already been listed on the PlayStation and Xbox stores. The global version promises full support for multiple languages, including Traditional Chinese, English, and Japanese, with pre-registration and wishlisting options available.

Locke’s Kingdom: World is an adaptation of the classic web game Locke’s Kingdom, developed by Tencent’s More Fun Studio Group. The original Chinese version launched on March 26th, 2026, for PC and mobile devices.

Since its inception in 2010 as a web game, the Locke’s Kingdom franchise has amassed a significant player base, exceeding 350 million registered users. In the game, players assume the role of a “Locke” exploring the continent of Kalosia, where they can capture and nurture creatures known as “Jinies” (the international name for the creatures previously referred to as “Spirits” in the Chinese version). The game is slated to launch with over 400 different Jinies available. More Fun Studio has emphasized that the game is designed to be non-“Pay to Win,” with all Jinies obtainable through standard gameplay.

The international server’s data will be kept separate from the Chinese server’s data.
