Li Auto has announced a significant Over-The-Air (OTA) update for its AI glasses, Livis, rolling out in October. This update brings substantial enhancements to the sport and health analysis reports, introduces a unique integration with Xiaohongshu for visual Q&A, and expands the capabilities of the personal agent by connecting it with Hermes.

Enhanced Sports and Health Analysis

The Livis AI glasses are taking a leap forward in sports and health tracking. A key feature of this update is the integration with Garmin sports devices. By leveraging detailed data points unique to Garmin, such as the ‘Body Battery’ metric, the glasses can now offer a more accurate understanding of the user’s physical energy levels and fatigue.

The health report generation has also been significantly optimized, becoming faster and more comprehensive. Users can expect deeper insights into their sleep quality and athletic performance, providing a more nuanced view of their overall well-being. Furthermore, these health reports will now be proactively pushed to users. This means timely reminders and insights will be delivered without the need for explicit requests, offering more targeted advice on exercise and rest routines.

Industry-First Visual Q&A with Xiaohongshu

In a move described as an industry first, Li Auto Livis is now exclusively integrating with Xiaohongshu’s Agent for visual Q&A. This groundbreaking feature allows users to take a photo of anything they see and ask questions about it directly. The system supports continuous, context-aware conversations, enabling users to delve deeper into topics as they arise.

This integration promises to revolutionize the way users interact with their surroundings, especially during activities like shopping. Imagine browsing a store, snapping a picture of an item, and instantly accessing a wealth of information and user reviews from millions of Xiaohongshu contributors, all without needing to pull out your smartphone. It effectively transforms the glasses into a personal, on-the-go guide and shopping assistant.

Personal Agent Integrates with Hermes

Expanding its smart ecosystem, Li Auto’s Livis glasses now feature integration with Hermes. This allows users to efficiently delegate tasks to Hermes with a simple voice command. This enhancement is designed to boost productivity and streamline remote collaboration, making it easier for users to manage their work and personal tasks seamlessly.
