This year, LG OLED celebrates ten years of innovative customer experience. According to Omdia, a research company, in the first quarter of 2023, LG led the OLED TV market with approximately 60% of the market in terms of total shipments. LG’s OLED TVs are currently sold in more than 130 countries, making them the most widely distributed OLED TVs in the world.
Last year, the total number of LG OLED TVs shipped (since their first launch in 2013) exceeded 15 million units. LG was the first OLED TV manufacturer to reach this amazing milestone.
LG offers an increasingly diverse lineup of OLED TVs. Screen sizes range from 42 to a staggering 83 inches. Crisp 4K resolution, minimalist design with different color accents, and a range of convenient features that enhance the picture and guarantee a deeper viewing experience. In line with the vision of “Sync to You, Open to All,” LG’s latest TVs are like home centers designed to enrich the viewing experience with advanced technology.
LG’s 2023 TV lineup
LG’s 2023 TV lineup delivers exceptional picture quality. The OLED screens are equipped with self-backlighting, advanced image processing technologies for brighter and clearer images, and an improved webOS platform with advanced features and services. With contrast, rich blacks, and wide viewing angles, LG OLED TVs give users the freedom to choose the perfect screen for their needs, preferences, and home environment.
LG’s premium OLED TV lineup also includes the LG OLED evo series, which offers brighter, more realistic images, and LG Lifestyle screens, which combine stunning picture quality with distinctive design.
LG Brightness Booster Max
A significant update to the OLED evo G3 series this year is LG Brightness Booster Max technology, which includes a completely new lighting control architecture. This allows you to increase the brightness of the screen up to 70% more than the previous generation of TVs. It is transmitted pixel-by-pixel, which provides clearer and more realistic images. Super Anti Reflective3 technology reduces glare from external light sources on the screen so that nothing distracts you from your viewing experience.
LG SIGNATURE OLED M
The company’s leading position in the ultra-large TV segment is cemented by the record-breaking 97-inch LG SIGNATURE OLED M (model M3). It is the world’s first consumer-oriented wireless TV capable of delivering real-time video and audio at up to 4K 120Hz.
LG OLED has won awards at the annual CES Innovation Awards for 11 consecutive years and has received high praise from leading publications, including several “Best TV of the Year” titles. The media agrees that LG OLED is “the best TV ever reviewed,” “a true miracle,” and “the king of TVs.”
Omdia predicts that by the end of 2023, OLED TVs will have a 10% larger market share in the premium TV segment (priced at USD 1,500 and above) in terms of revenue. While in 2022 the market share was 36.7%, it is expected to reach 46.1% by the end of 2023.
LG has been working hard over the past decade to realize the huge potential of these TVs. Building on this achievement, the company will continue to create and innovate over the next decade, exploring the nearly limitless possibilities offered by OLED technology.
LG‘s 2023 OLED TVs will be available in Ukrainian retailers in the near future.
