LG has just launched new gaming monitors from its popular UltraGear series. The new monitors were first unveiled at CES 2024 for gamers and include 5 UltraGear models that feature outstanding features such as OLED display and 4K resolution. Here’s everything you need to know.
LG UltraGear gaming OLED monitors go on sale
The South Korean brand previously introduced the 32GS95UE gaming OLED monitor as one of its flagship models back in March 2024, while the UltraGear OLED 27GS95QE monitor was released back in February 2024. Both of these models were announced in the US and Canadian markets. Now the company has released these two monitors along with three others in its home market. The 32GS95UE is the first monitor in the world to be CESA certified for “dual mode”. This means that it can switch between an ultra-high 480Hz refresh rate with Full HD resolution and Ultra High Definition mode with 4K resolution at 240Hz.
It is also the first model to use LG Pixel Sound technology, which projects sound directly from the display through vibrating film components built into the monitor. Other features include a tall 32-inch screen, 0.03 ms response time, anti-glare and low reflection. LG has also started selling curved OLED gaming monitors, which are the 34/39GS95QE models. They offer WQHD resolution with an 800R curvature angle and 21:9 aspect ratio. Finally, there’s a massive 45-inch OLED monitor and a 27-inch OLED monitor that round out this list.
