LG Electronics will present the UltraGear GX9 series of premium OLED gaming monitors at CES 2025. The new lineup includes the 45GX990A, which won three CES 2025 Innovation Awards, including the prestigious Best of Innovation, and the all-in-one smart gaming monitor based on the LG webOS platform.

LG UltraGear GX9 Series
For the ultimate gaming immersion, all UltraGear GX9 models feature curved displays powered by LG’s advanced WOLED technology. These screens feature high brightness, rich blacks, stunning colors, and optimal curvature – a combination that brings the gaming experience to life and immerses users deeper into the action of their favorite games.
The GX9 series is certified for low blue light emission, which provides a more comfortable user experience by reducing eye strain during long gaming sessions. In addition, LG’s Anti-Glare & Low Reflection (AGLR) coating minimizes glare and reflections, making it easier for players to see what’s happening on the screen, even in brightly lit rooms.
The 45GX990A and 45GX950A are 45-inch gaming monitors with a 21:9 aspect ratio and ultra-high 5K2K (5120 x 2160) resolution, the world’s first OLED screens to offer this feature.1 The 21:9 aspect ratio provides a more immersive gaming experience than standard 16:9 displays while offering better content compatibility than 32:9 models. Both products feature LG’s second-generation Dual-Mode, which allows users to customize aspect ratios (21:9 or 16:9) and picture sizes (39, 34 or 27 inches) with the ability to switch one-touch between preset combinations of screen resolution and refresh rate. With eight configurations, users can personalize their gaming experience to suit their preferences or adapt it to different game genres, including FPS, RPG, MOBA, and racing simulators.

Another key model in the new GX9 lineup is the LG OLED UltraGear Gaming Monitor (45GX950A). Featuring a curved (800R) 45-inch screen with 5K2K resolution and a 21:9 aspect ratio, this device delivers crisp, lifelike images with the stunning colors and exceptional contrast that LG OLED products are known for.
Its virtually bezel-less design helps to enhance the user’s sense of immersion and add elegance to any space. With its 125 pixels per inch (PPI) density and sub-pixel RGWB layout, the monitor improves the readability of gaming text and makes productive tasks such as editing documents or website content much easier.
