The Kyivstar mobile communications operator has introduced the Spare SIM-Card service from April 9, 2010.
Ukrainian News learned this from a statement by the company, the wording of which was made available to the agency.
The statement reads that subsribers will be provided with additional SIM-cards (with the same phone number as with the basic SIM-card) that can be activated if basic SIM-cards are damaged or lost.
Spare SIM cards are available to clients at nearest service centers.
Contractual subscribers should have passports and subscribers to prepaid services should have active SIM-cards.
The term of SIM-card is three years.
The cost of spare SIM card is UAH 20. Activation is free.
