iQOO announced that it has started pre-selling its new iQOO Pad 2 tablet in China, which will launch on May 31. This will be the first ever tablet with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. Here is an overview of the new tablet’s features.
Design of iQOO Pad 2
In terms of design, the iQOO Pad 2 is very similar to the Pro version, with a single camera and LED flash housed in a round module on the back. It also has a pogo-pin connector for connecting an additional keyboard, but does not have a fingerprint sensor.
Technical specifications of iQOO Pad 2
According to Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the iQOO Pad 2 will feature a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2.8K (2800 x 1968 pixels) and a 144Hz refresh rate. The tablet is powered by a 10,000 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. Camera specifications include a 5-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera.
iQOO Pad 2 will be available in gray, blue, and silver colors. This model is expected to be rebranded as Vivo Pad 3 in China a few weeks after its release.
DCS has revealed that the Pad 2 will be available in three configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage. There is currently no information on the price of the Pad 2. The same is likely to be released under the name Vivo Pad 3 in a few weeks in China.
By the way, iQOO will present two new devices in China: iQOO Pad 2 Pro and iQOO Neo 9s Pro smartphones. Both devices will be equipped with the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset.
