JONSBO is set to launch its new X400M PC case today at 8:00 PM. This new model boasts five expansion slots, compatibility with M-ATX motherboards, and carries over the distinctive exoskeleton frame design from its larger sibling, the X400. It will be available for a retail price of 399 Chinese Yuan.

Design and Dimensions

The X400M measures 460.2mm in length, 310.3mm in width, and 416.3mm in height, representing a volume reduction of approximately 12% compared to the X400. The chassis is constructed from a combination of steel panels, ABS plastic, and tempered glass. The frame is coated with a 2H hardness, dark gray metallic texture finish, giving it a premium look and feel. For added convenience, the case includes a built-in GPU support bracket and a rear cable management panel.

Hardware Compatibility and Features

Designed to support motherboards with a rear-connector layout, the X400M offers ample space for components. Expansion cards can be up to 427mm long, while ATX power supplies are limited to 180mm. CPU cooler height is accommodated up to 176mm. Storage options include two 3.5″ drive bays and one 2.5″ drive bay.

Cooling is a significant focus for the X400M, featuring ten fan mounting points. The top of the case supports 360mm or 280mm All-In-One (AIO) liquid coolers, and the side panel can accommodate a 240mm AIO. The front I/O panel is equipped with modern connectivity, including one USB-C port operating at 10Gbps and two USB-A ports running at 5Gbps, ensuring fast data transfer for peripherals.

Pricing and Availability

The JONSBO X400M chassis is scheduled to go on sale on November 4th at 8:00 PM on JD.com, priced at 399 Yuan. This release comes as part of the larger 11.11 shopping festival, with special promotional offers and no-threshold red envelopes available on platforms like JD.com and Taobao.

This new M-ATX case from JONSBO combines a robust exoskeleton design with excellent component support and modern I/O, all at an attractive price point. It’s a compelling option for builders looking for a stylish and functional PC chassis.

The inclusion of features like the GPU support bracket and a dedicated cable management solution demonstrates JONSBO’s attention to detail and user experience in their PC case designs. The emphasis on cooling support also suggests the X400M is well-suited for performance-oriented builds, even within the more compact M-ATX form factor.
