In April, iQOO introduced the iQOO Z9x, Z9 and Z9 Turbo smartphones in China, powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipsets, respectively. A new leak, courtesy of Digital Chat Station, reveals that the brand is also working on another Z9 series phone for the Chinese market. Here are the first details about the device.
According to DCS, the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ phone will soon appear on the Chinese market. Unfortunately, the leak did not reveal anything else about the device. Another tech blogger claims that the device will be equipped with a Dimensity 9300+ chipset.
In May, iQOO introduced the iQOO Neo 9S Pro equipped with the Dimensity 9300+ chipset. It seems that the Z9 Turbo+ will be another phone of the brand based on D9300+. There is currently no information about other characteristics of the Z9 Turbo+. There is a possibility that it may have the same specifications as the regular Z9 Turbo, but with a different chipset. Technical specifications of iQOO Z9 Turbo
The iQOO Z9 Turbo is an IP64-rated phone equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and a 6000 mAh battery with 80W charging capability.
The Z9 Turbo runs Android 14 based on OriginOS 4. It has a 16-megapixel camera on the front and a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens on the back.
