iQOO Z9 Turbo will be available on the market this month

This month is full of exciting mid-range smartphone launches. It started with the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, and now we’re looking forward to several more releases in China, such as the Redmi Turbo 3, Realme GT Neo 6 SE, and Oppo A3 Pro, which will be coming later this week.

It looks like iQOO will also soon launch a smartphone called the iQOO Z9 Turbo. Xeng Ching, the product manager of iQOO Z-series, recently stated in a post on Weibo that “this month will start lively”. It’s worth noting that she made this post with the iQOO Z9 Turbo, confirming the device’s nickname for the first time. Judging by this teaser, we can expect the iQOO Z9 Pro smartphone to make its debut in April.

Although there has been no official confirmation through official channels, it is said that the iQOO Z9 Turbo will be powered by the recently launched Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip. It is also confirmed that the Redmi Turbo 3 will be released with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, which means that it will be a direct competitor to the iQOO Z9 Turbo.

It is also reported that iQOO Z9 Turbo is equipped with a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K, 144 Hz refresh rate, and 2160 Hz PWM. For security, it can have a built-in fingerprint sensor.

The phone is said to debut with two RAM configurations: 12GB/16GB, both paired with 512GB of storage. It is expected to be powered by a 6,000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. In terms of optics, the device may feature a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. More details are expected to be announced on the official channels of iQOO, so stay tuned.
