The launch date of iQOO Z9 Turbo has been officially confirmed. The brand is ready to take the covers off the most powerful Z-series phone on April 24 in China. In the home market, the Z9 Turbo will compete with the Redmi Turbo 3 and the upcoming Realme GT Neo 6. All three phones are equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.
According to reports, the Z9 lineup includes two more devices, such as the iQOO Z9 with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor on board and the iQOO Z9x with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. It’s unclear if the Z9 and Z9x will debut alongside the Turbo variant. Here’s a look at what the reports have to say about it.
Specifications of iQOO Z9 Turbo (rumored)
So far, iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO Z9 Turbo will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, 6,000 mAh battery, 6K VC heat sink, and a dedicated graphics processing unit. According to other sources, the Z9 Turbo will have a 6.78-inch flat OLED panel with a resolution of 1.5 thousand dots, 144 Hz refresh rate, 2160 Hz PWM dimming, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The Z9 Turbo will reportedly feature 12GB/16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It is expected to run on Android 14 based on OriginOS 4. It will have a 16-megapixel camera on the front and a 50-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 8-megapixel dual camera on the back. The price of the device has not been announced yet.
