In December 2023, iQOO introduced the sub-flagship offerings iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro. There have been reports that the brand is working on another phone in the Neo 9 series, but its official moniker is still unknown. Therefore, it is tentatively called iQOO Neo 9s Pro or Neo 9 Racing Edition. Now, a new Vivo device has appeared in the 3C certification database. It looks like it could be the upcoming Neo 9s Pro smartphone.
The iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro smartphones available in China have model numbers V2338A and V2339A. As you can see in the image above, the new Vivo device with the model number V2339FA has been approved by the Chinese 3C authority.
The similarity in the model number suggests that the V2339FA device may be a new variant of the iQOO Neo 9 Pro. So, it is likely that this could be the rumored iQOO Neo 9s Pro. It is advisable to wait for further reports to find out the exact name of the device.
According to the V2339FA’s 3C certificate, it may come with a 120W fast charger. Unfortunately, nothing else is known about the device.
According to reports, Vivo will equip the Vivo X100s and Vivo X100s Pro smartphones with the upcoming Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset when they hit the Chinese market in May. It remains to be seen whether the alleged Neo 9s Pro could be equipped with the Dimensity 9300 Plus chip.
By the way, iQOO will present the iQOO Z9 series on April 24 in China. The lineup will include three phones: Z9, Z9x, and Z9 Turbo. So far, the brand has confirmed that the Turbo model will have a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip and a 6,000 mAh battery.
