Today, iQOO has held an event in China to announce new products. These include smartphones, TWS headphones, and smartwatches. The newest phones from the Vivo sub-brand are iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro. They replaced last year’s iQOO Neo 8 series. Both newest devices have premium specifications. They are also almost similar to each other. Read on to learn more about them.

Specifications of iQOO Neo 9, Neo 9 Pro

The iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro feature a 1.5K OLED display with a 6.78-inch diagonal. They offer 144 Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support, and the screen is integrated with a fingerprint scanner. The iQOO Q1 is also equipped with a special chip to improve the quality of viewing and gaming. In terms of design, iQOO Neo 9 duo has a flat bezel and two camera rings on the back.

On the front, the iQOO Neo 9 features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 main camera with OIS support, which is used on the Vivo X100. The ultra-wide-angle lens of the standard and pro versions has a resolution of 8 megapixels and 50 megapixels, respectively. Both phones have a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.

Under the hood, the iQOO Neo 9 is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, while the Neo 9 Pro is powered by a Dimensity 9300 chipset. Both phones have up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The devices also feature a 6K VC liquid cooling system with 3D heat dissipation. The iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro are equipped with a 5,160 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.

Other features of the iQOO Neo 9 series include dual speakers, IR blaster, X-Axis linear motor, WiFi 7, and much more. In terms of software, the smartphones come with Android 14 based on OriginOS 4 out of the box,

iQOO Neo 9 and 9 Pro are offered in Soul red and white (with a two-tone leather textured back), Nautical Blue, and Fighting Black. The standard variant starts at CNY 2,299 (~$321) for the 12GB + 256GB version. The 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB configurations cost 2,499 yuan (~$349), 2,799 yuan (~$391), and 3,199 yuan (~$447), respectively. On the other hand, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro in 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants cost 2,999 yuan (~$419) and 3,299 yuan (~$461) respectively. The 16 GB + 512 GB and 16 GB + 1 TB variants cost 3,599 yuan (~$503) and 3,999 yuan (~$559).
