iQOO has just confirmed that the iQOO Neo 9 series, iQOO Watch, and iQOO TWS 1e headphones will be launched on December 27 in China. Now, a leak on Weibo has revealed the key features of the Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro. Here is an overview of what to expect from both models.
Specifications of iQOO Neo 9, Neo 9 Pro
According to a Chinese leak, the iQOO Neo 9v and Neo 9 Pro smartphones could feature an impressive 6.78-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K (1260p) resolution. Other reports claim that both models will support 144Hz refresh rates, just like the Neo 8 series. These devices may be powered by the Q1 chip, developed by iQOO to improve graphics performance.
As for the battery, both the Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro are rumored to feature a 5,160 mAh battery, complemented by 120W fast charging. Both smartphones are expected to come with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage options such as 12GB+256GB, 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. The Neo 9 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, while the Neo 9 Pro will have a more powerful Dimensity 9300 SoC.
For selfies, the iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro will feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Meanwhile, the Neo 9’s rear camera is rumored to feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 primary lens with OIS support and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The Neo 9 Pro, on the other hand, may showcase a dual 50-megapixel configuration consisting of a Sony IMX920 with OIS for the primary lens and a Samsung JN1 for the ultra-wide-angle lens.
Other features of the iQOO Neo 9 series include an in-display fingerprint sensor, infrared blaster, dual speakers, X-axis linear motor, and a plastic middle frame for added durability. The Neo 9 duo is expected to run on Android 14 with OriginOS 4 user interface, offering users the latest software. In addition, these smartphones are rumored to be available in black, blue, and red and white colors.
