The upcoming flagship smartphone of the iQOO 13 series may be unveiled in the fourth quarter of this year. Although not many details are known about these devices yet, the first leaks have begun to appear.
Recently, a user called Smart Pikachu shared details about the iQOO 13’s charging and battery capacity in a post on Weibo.
According to him, the iQOO 13 will be equipped with a 6000 mAh battery and will support 120W charging. This is 1000 mAh more than last year’s iQOO 12 model, and the charging will remain the same.
Apart from these details, the leak does not provide any more information. However, in a previous leak, the same informant revealed that the phone will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, which boasts custom Oryon processor cores and an advanced GPU for advanced AI capabilities.
The iQOO 13 is expected to be available in standard and Pro variants. The standard model is rumored to have a 1.5K flat display, while the Pro version may have a curved display with a higher 2K resolution.
This is in line with the display setup of the iQOO 12 line, suggesting no major changes in this regard. The leak also suggests that both models may use displays from Samsung and domestic Chinese display manufacturers, likely BOE.
Although the leaks don’t specifically mention a launch timeframe for the iQOO 13 series, it’s unlikely to debut before the expected release of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 in October 2024. We will definitely keep you updated with any new details about the smartphones.
