Although the next generation iPhone is still a few months away, a new report has revealed some details about Apple‘s upcoming iPhone 16 Pro series. The 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max have been leaked with some build and camera specs. So let’s take a look.
A well-known Digital Chat Station informant shared the information on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging site). He claims that the Cupertino giant will ship iPhone 16 Pro models with a 1/1.14-inch main camera and a periscope telephoto lens. The latter is likely to offer enhanced zoom capabilities compared to its predecessors, while the former may hint at improved light absorption on the main sensor.
Digital Chat Station shared more details regarding the back panel, claiming that the back panel will also undergo some changes. Reportedly, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will feature a glass panel that is built using a G+P solution. This means that the back panel is a mold of glass and plastic together. The source hints that the Chinese brand Huawei will also use a similar technology for its future smartphones.
According to our recent reports, the design of the iPhone 16 Pro series has been shown in renders, where a new dedicated “Capture” button has been demonstrated. There is also information that the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a smaller dynamic island on the front, updated cameras, and slightly taller displays. This is all the information we have at the moment, so stay tuned.
