HP is reportedly working on a new laptop that will be the world’s lightest 14-inch gaming device. The upcoming product is called HP Omen Transcend. HP is preparing to launch the Omen Transcend laptop. The exact timing of the launch remains a mystery, but it may debut at the upcoming CES in January. According to the leaked images, the laptop has a thin profile and an RGB keyboard. It is reported to weigh only 1.6 kg. The device may be available in Ceramic White and Shadow Black colors.
The report shows that the HP Omen Transcend will be equipped with a 14-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2.8 thousand pixels. It will have a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a response time of 0.2 ms, and a peak brightness of 500 nits. A 1080p webcam will be installed.
Under the hood, the HP Omen Transcend is said to be powered by 14th-generation Intel Core Ultra chipsets. There will also be up to an NVIDIA RTX 4070 GPU on board. The machine will be equipped with up to 32 GB of RAM and a 2 TB SSD. The report adds that the Omen Transcend will be powered by a 71 Wh battery, which is said to provide 11.5 hours of battery life.
