In December, Honor introduced the Honor X7b (4G) smartphone for the global market. Now the brand has silently unveiled the 5G version of the device by posting it on its global website. While the 4G version is powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset, the Honor X7b 5G is equipped with the Dimensity 6020 chipset. Here’s a look at what’s inside the X7b 5G.

Honor X7b 5G specifications and features


The Honor X7b 5G features a massive 6.8-inch IPS LCD panel with FHD+ resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The phone boots on Android 13 based on MagicOS 7.2.

For selfies, the Honor X7b 5G has an 8-megapixel camera on the front. The dual camera system on the back consists of a 108-megapixel primary camera and a pair of 2-megapixel cameras for depth and macro photography.

The X7b is powered by the Dimensity 6020 chip. It has 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and a 6000mAh battery with 35W fast charging support. The device also has a microSD card slot, a fingerprint scanner on the side, a USB-C port, a 3.5 mm audio jack, dual speakers, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.1. The phone measures 166.7 x 76.5 x 8.24 mm and weighs 199 grams.

Honor X7b 5G price and availability

Honor has not yet confirmed the price and availability of the Honor X7b 5G. It has been confirmed that it will be available in three shades, such as Midnight Black, Crystal Silver, and Emerald Green.

The Honor X7b 5G is similar to the Honor 90 Smart, which was recently officially launched in France for €249. In comparison, the 90 Smart has a smaller 5330 mAh battery, 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, and is available in black and green colors.
