Honor has officially confirmed that its upcoming WIN Tablet will be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 chipset. This announcement addresses earlier confusion stemming from initial marketing materials that suggested a different, less powerful version of the processor.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 Powering Honor WIN Tablet
Initially, Honor’s social media posts and promotional posters mentioned the device would feature the “Snapdragon 8 Gen5 flagship chip.” This led some fans to speculate it would be the next-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. However, the processor icon on the posters consistently displayed “Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5.” To clear up any ambiguity, Honor has now updated its materials to explicitly state that the Honor WIN Tablet will be equipped with the full-performance “Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5” chipset.
