Honor has scheduled a presentation in China for December 21. The Honor 90 GT will be the star of the conference, but other products will be presented along with it.
One of them will be Honor Pad 9. We recently learned the key features of this tablet. Today, the brand has officially revealed the display characteristics of the device.
Let’s check out everything we know about the upcoming Honor tablet so far.
Honor Pad 9 has a better display than Huawei MatePad 11.5
According to Honor, its new tablet comes with eye protection, like most of its recent products. In its latest teasers, the brand compares its product to Huawei’s offering.
Honor claims that the Honor Pad 9 has not only a larger display, but also better performance than the Huawei MatePad 11.5.
The Pad 9 is built around a 12.1-inch display with a paper-like matte finish. This LCD screen has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and 249 PPI. The maximum brightness of the panel is 500 nits, and the screen-to-body ratio is 88% thanks to the narrow 6.9 mm bezels.
Additionally, Honor claims that the eye protection used in this tablet reduces visual fatigue by 14%, increases melatonin secretion by 20%, and reduces harmful blue light by 36%. The teaser images also confirm that the device will have stylus support as well as a keyboard.
According to the leaks, the Honor Pad 9 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. The mentioned SoC will be paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
The device will feature a 13-megapixel rear camera and 8 speakers. It will be backed by an 8,300 mAh battery with 33W charging support.
Last but not least, it will be available in three colors: black, green, and white gradient.
