Honor has officially confirmed that it will host a new product launch event in China on July 12. Several products will be presented at the event, such as Magic V3 and Magic Vs3 folding phones, MagicPad 2 tablet, and MagicBook Air 14 laptop. Here is a sneak peek of what to expect from the upcoming Honor devices.
Recently, Honor confirmed that the Honor Magic V3 will be thinner and lighter than last year’s Magic V2. The Magic V2, which is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and a 5000 mAh battery, is only 9.9 mm thick when folded and weighs about 231 grams.
According to reports, the Magic V3 will have the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a larger battery. It is also expected to support 5.5G cellular connectivity and two-way satellite communications. According to 3C certification, the device may have 66W fast charging support. Unfortunately, other details about the Magic V3 remain under wraps.
Honor has yet to confirm specific details about the Magic Vs 3, MagicPad 2, and MagicBook Art 14. It seems that, like the Magic Vs2, which debuted in October 2023, the Magic Vs3 will be an affordable offering. The previous model was equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, so it is likely that Magic Vs3 could be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. As for the MagicPad 2, it will be equipped with artificial intelligence defocusing technology that reduces eye fatigue.
