Honor has introduced the Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design smartphone to global markets after launching it in China in March. As the name suggests, the device was developed in collaboration with the legendary automaker Porsche. It boasts a stunning luxury design and, of course, top-notch technical features. The global version is the same as its Chinese counterpart. Read on to find out all the details below.
Starting with the key USP of the device, Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design is inspired by the design of the legendary Porsche Taycan. The phone has a protruding hexagonal camera module in black. It has a strong and lightweight titanium alloy frame. The back also has a flight line-like body that is inspired by the front vertical line of the car for every racing enthusiast. The device is protected against dust and water according to the IP68 standard.
The Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design features a 6.8-inch quad-corner AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. It has an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz, HDR peak brightness of 5,000 nits and global peak brightness of 1,800 nits. The screen is protected by Honor’s anti-scratch nanocrystal screen.
In the imaging department, the Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design features a triple rear camera setup. They consist of a 50MP main 1/1.3-inch sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a third 180MP 1/1.49-inch periscopic telephoto lens with 100x digital zoom. There is also LiDAR on board. On the front, the smartphone has a 50-megapixel camera and a 3D depth camera placed in a pill-shaped notch.
Under the hood of the Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It is equipped with a huge 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The device is powered by a 5600 mAh battery with support for 80W and 66W wired and wireless charging.
