Honor is working on the successor to the Band 7. A new certification leak has revealed that the Honor Band 9 could be launched in the near future, and even revealed some details about its specifications. So, here are all the details.
Honor Band 9 has passed Bluetooth SIG certification
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer introduced the Honor Band 7 back in 2022. Now, it looks like the successor model may be nearing release. The Honor Band 9 has been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification platform with two different model numbers. These are RHE-B39 and RHE-B19. In other words, there are two variants of the smart bracelet, which could mean different screen sizes or specifications.
The test also confirmed Bluetooth 5.3 support in the Band 9 model. Unfortunately, no other details about the device, such as its internal specifications, were found in the database. In addition, this is also the first time that the Honor Band 9 has appeared online, which means that we can probably expect more sightings on other certification platforms in the near future.
Recall that Band 7 was launched with a 1.47-inch AMOLED display with a curved 2.5D display. It supported 96 sports modes, blood oxygen monitoring, heart rate tracking, and sleep mapping. The smart bracelet supports Bluetooth 5.0 and has a water resistance of 5ATM. The battery life is up to 14 days. The Honor company has not yet made any official announcement regarding Band 9. However, we can expect more details to emerge soon, so stay tuned for more news about this device.
