Honor Band 9 is now officially unveiled. It replaces the Honor Band 7, which was introduced in late 2022.
The company’s newest fitness tracker was announced at the Honor Magic 6 Ultimate presentation in China. At this conference, the brand also announced the Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design.
The device is also available on the brand’s global website. However, the company has disclosed price and availability information only for its country.
Honor Band 9 specifications
Honor Band 9 has a rectangular AMOLED display, just like its predecessor Honor Band 7. However, the screen is not only bigger, but also sharper, smoother, and more curved.
The 1.57-inch panel has a resolution of 402 x 256 pixels, 302 PPI and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. For comparison, the display of the older model has a size of 1.47 inches and a resolution of 364 x 198 pixels.
The body remains plastic with a metal coating on the sides. The device also retains water resistance up to 5ATM.
The fitness tracker uses Bluetooth 5.3 to connect with smartphones running Android 9.0 or later. It is also compatible with iPhones running iOS 11 or later. The device is paired through the Honor Health app.
Like other smart wearables on the market, Honor Band 9 comes with several health features. It supports 96 sports modes, sleep tracking, heart rate measurement, blood oxygen monitoring, stress level tracking, and more.
The device also comes with other useful features such as music playback control, call notifications, app notifications, weather, alarm, and more. Last but not least, the product lasts up to 14 days on a full charge.
Honor Band 9 price
The price of Honor Band 9 in China is 249 yen (~35 USD). It is available in black, purple, and blue colors.
