Along with the Honor 200, Honor has also launched a high-end smartphone called the Honor 200 Pro in the Chinese market. Let’s check out the specifications, price, and colors of this smartphone.


Technical specifications of Honor 200 Pro:

The Honor 200 Pro features a 6.78-inch 2700×1224 four-edge curved OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, high-frequency PWM dimming of 3840 Hz, and a local peak brightness of 4000 nits. It supports 1.07 billion colors, natural light-like eye protection, an AI-enabled display to help you fall asleep, Natural Color Display 2.0, and 360-degree adaptive brightness control technology.

The Honor 200 Pro has been certified flicker-free by Rheinland TÜV and is the first smartphone to receive Rheinland TÜV Global Eye Care 3.0 certification. It also supports rain and wet touch protection.

The device is based on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset with the Adreno 735 GPU. The device offers various memory configurations ranging from 12GB+256GB to 16GB+1TB. Out of the box, the phone runs on MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14.

In terms of optics, the Honor 200 Pro has a triple camera setup on the back. It features a 50MP primary camera with a 1/1.3″ H9000 image sensor, OIS optical image stabilization, and f/1.9 aperture. This primary camera uses a large 4-in-1 pixel equivalent to 2.4µm, an 8-line SMA AF + OIS 2-in-1 motor, and a 7P lens.


The device also features a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with a special IMX856 sensor developed in conjunction with Sony that supports 2.5x optical zoom, up to 50x digital zoom and OIS with f/2.4 aperture. In addition, there is a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle macro lens with a 112° angle of view and an ultra-short focusing distance of 2.5 cm.

The front camera of Honor 200 Pro is equipped with a 50-megapixel DSLR-level portrait lens with f/2.1 aperture, an advanced algorithm for optimizing light and shadow for selfies. The rear and front cameras support video recording with a resolution of up to 4K, providing versatility in shooting various scenarios and guaranteeing high quality images and videos.

The device is equipped with a 5200 mAh “Qinghai Lake Battery” that supports 100W wired ultra-fast charging and 66W wireless charging. This massive battery is complemented by an AI-powered smart charging mode that adapts to your charging habits to maximize battery life.

For audio, Honor has equipped the 200 Pro with dual stereo speakers with Histen 7.1 spatial audio effects. The device also comes with a GPU Turbo X gaming engine that further enriches the experience by optimizing performance for demanding games, delivering a smooth, high-quality gaming experience.

For connectivity, the Honor 200 Pro supports a wide range of network standards, including 5G. It also includes modern connectivity features such as Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, and multiple positioning systems such as GPS and GLONASS.

Honor 200 Pro measures 163.3 mm in length, 75.2 mm in width and 8.2 mm in thickness, and weighs approximately 199 grams, including the battery.

Price and availability

Honor 200 Pro is available in Sky Blue, Coral Pink, Moonlight White, and Velvet Black colors.

The device is available in several configurations and price points: the 12GB+256GB version costs 3499 yuan ($483), while the 12GB+512GB version costs 3799 yuan ($525). Higher-end models, which include 16GB RAM with 512GB of storage and 16GB RAM with 1TB of storage, cost 3999 yuan ($552) and 4499 yuan ($621), respectively.

The pre-sale of Honor 200 Pro will begin on May 27, 2024 at 20:30, and the official sale will begin on May 31, 2024 at 10:08. The smartphone will be available through the Honor Mall, various authorized e-commerce platforms, Honor experience stores, and authorized retailers.
