Honor has introduced the Honor 200 Lite 5G, the first model in the new 200 series, in France. The smartphone bears similarities to the Honor X50i Plus previously launched in China, but has a different camera design and the same MediaTek Dimensity 6080 processor.

The Honor 200 Lite 5G has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels. It also has a TUV Rheinland flicker-free certificate to reduce eye strain. The brand did not specify the refresh rate of the display.
The Dimensity 6080 chip is paired with 8GB of RAM, with the option to install an additional 8GB of virtual memory, and 256GB of storage. It runs on MagicOS 8.0 operating system based on Android 14, which includes Honor’s AI apps, Magic Portal and Magic Capsule.
A significant upgrade to this model is a 50-megapixel front-facing camera with 2D face recognition, which improves selfie capabilities. It also has a 108-megapixel main camera paired with a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The camera system is capable of capturing 1080p video. It also supports many shooting modes, such as portrait, night, slow motion, panorama, HDR, time-lapse, super macro, and others.
The camera has a lightweight design weighing 166 grams and measuring 6.78 mm thick. The device is powered by a 4,500 mAh battery with 35W fast charging and offers multiple connectivity options, including 5G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.1.
Price and availability
The Honor 200 Lite 5G priced at €329.90 has already gone on sale in France, offering three color options: Starry Blue, Cyan Lake, and Midnight Black. As part of the promotion, customers will receive a free HONOR Band 9 and HONOR CHOICE Earbuds X5 with their purchase.
