Honor 200, 200 Pro may receive Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, 8 Gen

Honor is reportedly working on the Honor 200 series for the Chinese market. Two Honor phones with model numbers ELP-AN00 and ELI-AN00 were recently approved by the 3C authority in China. These devices are said to be part of the Honor 200 series, which is expected to debut in May. New leaks have revealed information about the chipsets that both smartphones will be powered by.

The 3C certification of the alleged Honor 200 and 200 Pro suggests that both models will be equipped with 100W fast charging support. Two model numbers are currently available: ELP-AN00 and ELI-AN00. It remains unclear which of these models represents the standard version and which corresponds to the Pro version. Thanks to 3C certification, we know that both models can support 100W fast charging.

Several leaks have claimed that the Honor 200 duo will have a 1.5K quad-corner OLED panel. Tipster Teme claims that the Pro will have a dual selfie camera module in a pill-shaped notch. The main camera on the back may have variable aperture and OIS support, as well as a telephoto lens.

Another leak claimed that the Honor 200 will have a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, while the Pro version may be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. As a reminder, the Honor 100 and 100 Pro, which debuted in November 2023, were equipped with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and 8 Gen 2 chipsets, respectively. The same informant claims that the design of the rear camera module of the Honor 200 series has changed significantly.
