Following a recent Pixel 11 Pro teaser, Google unveiled the first official video dedicated to its new foldable smartphone, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
The 15-second clip runs under the slogan ‘Demand more from your phone,’ with the narrator playing on the device’s design, mentioning openness to the new and a form factor that ‘opens up’.
Although the video does not reveal technical specifications, it allows a closer look at the updated main camera module, which features an elongated capsule-like shape consistent with earlier leaked renders.
Made by Google 2026 — already August 12
Together with the teaser release, Google activated the countdown to the Made by Google 2026 event.
The event starts on August 12 at 5:00 PM Kyiv time, and the official Google Store and US retailer Best Buy have already launched pages with countdown timers. Pre-orders for the new devices are expected to begin immediately after the presentation, or even during the broadcast.

AI Remains the Central Theme
Google’s marketing campaign once again demonstrates that the company is betting not only on hardware but also on artificial intelligence capabilities. Gemini continues to integrate deeper into the Pixel ecosystem and is likely to become the main advantage of the new smartphone lineup.
Moving the Pixel presentation to August also allows Google to enter the market earlier than traditional autumn announcements by competitors and draw attention to its own AI ecosystem.
Xpert Take
The appearance of the official teaser marks the end of speculation about the Pixel 11 Pro Fold’s design. Google has confirmed the smartphone’s outward appearance and presentation date, yet most technical specifications remain subject to leaks.
This year, the company seems to focus less on revolutionary design changes and more on developing the Gemini AI ecosystem. Software capabilities and AI integration could become the key argument in competing with other foldable smartphone makers.
