Following the introduction of the Redmi Note 13 series in China, Xiaomi’s Redmi sub-brand is preparing to launch the Redmi Note 13 line on the global market. Redmi Note 13 series smartphones have started receiving several certifications ahead of their global debut. Recently, the vanilla Redmi Note 13 5G model was spotted on NBTC and TDRA certificates. Now, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G have received TDRA certification ahead of their global launch.
Global launch of Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G seems inevitable
TDRA certification has listed the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G with model numbers 2312DRA50G and 23090RA98G, respectively. The listing does not reveal any specifications of these devices other than the model number. Since these devices were introduced in China, we already know their specifications. We can expect the global Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G to have the same specifications as the Chinese variants.
As a reminder, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G are equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K. The former is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, and the latter by the Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset. These devices have up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. Both smartphones come with Android 13 out of the box.
In terms of imaging, these devices feature a triple camera setup. The camera module consists of a 200-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. Both smartphones have a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G comes with a 5100 mAh battery. The former supports 67W fast charging, while the latter supports 120W fast charging.
There are currently no details on when Redmi plans to launch the Redmi Note 13 series in the global market. As the Redmi Note 12 line debuted in the global market in January this year, we can expect the Redmi Note 13 series to launch at the same time next year.
