OnePlus is launching the OnePlus 12R smartphone in India and globally alongside the OnePlus 12 on January 23. Ahead of the official launch, we’ve begun to explore the key details of both devices through several certification listings. Recently, thanks to the FCC certification, live images as well as key specs of the OnePlus 12R were released. In addition, a few days ago, the device was spotted on the TDRA certification site. Now, the smartphone has hit Geekbench ahead of the official launch.
OnePlus 12R hardware specifications revealed
If we look at the test results, we can see that the global model OnePlus 12R (CPH2611) will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The device will have up to 16 GB of RAM and will run Android 14 out of the box. The smartphone managed to score 1554 and 4484 points in the single-core and multi-core Geekbench test, respectively.
It is assumed that the upcoming OnePlus 12R smartphone will be a rebrand of the OnePlus Ace 3 on the global market. Since the Ace 3 has already been launched in China, we already know what specifications the 12R has to offer. We can expect the device to feature a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 2480×1264 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The smartphone may have a triple camera with a resolution of 50 megapixels and a 16 megapixel selfie camera. As for other key features, the device will be equipped with a 5500 mAh battery, as the company confirmed earlier. Like the Ace 3, the OnePlus 12R can also support fast charging with up to 100W.
