Global Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G has received several certificates

The Oppo Reno 12 series is getting ready to enter the Chinese market. A recent report claimed that it could be launched later this month in the country. It seems that the company is also preparing to launch the Reno 12 line on the global market, as it has received approvals in countries such as Indonesia, India, and Singapore.

Indonesian certification platform SDPPI has certified an upcoming Oppo device with the model number CPH2629. The listing confirms that the device will be called the Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G when it debuts in the Indonesian market.

India’s BIS, Singapore’s IMDA, and Europe’s EEC have also approved the device. The latter indicates that it will support NFC, among other communication features.

In addition, Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G has been approved by TUV Rheinland, revealing its battery size and charging speed. According to the certificate, the device will have a 4880 mAh battery (nominal value) and support 80W fast charging. The typical size of the Reno 12 Pro battery may be 5,000 mAh.

Reno 12 Pro is also in the Camera FV-5 database. It shows that the device has a 50-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, as well as a 50-megapixel main camera on the back. There is currently no clarity on whether the same Reno 12 Pro that is planned for the Chinese market will be released globally.

According to reports, the Chinese variant of the Reno 12 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch OLED panel with a quadrangular curve, 1.5K resolution, and 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely to be equipped with the Dimensity 9200 Plus Star Speed Edition chipset, up to 16 GB of RAM, up to 512 GB of storage, and a 5000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging and IP65 protection. It will have a 50-megapixel front-facing camera, as well as a triple camera setup of 50-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide-angle) + 50-megapixel (2x telephoto).
