Google’s Gemini AI assistant can now recall past conversations to provide more relevant answers if you have a Gemini Advanced subscription through Google One AI Premium. With the update, you no longer have to recall previous chats or search for a topic to continue the conversation, as Gemini will already have the context you need.
You can also ask Gemini to summarize previous conversations and build on existing projects. Google has already widely deployed Gemini’s ability to “remember” your preferences, but this latest update takes it one step further by allowing the chatbot to reference discussions from the past.
You can view, delete, and manage your Gemini chat history at any time by selecting your profile picture in the top right corner of the Gemini app and then selecting “Gemini Apps Activity”.
The Gemini Chat Recall feature is already available for Google One AI premium subscribers. You can try out the new reminder feature in English on the web version or the Gemini mobile app. Google says it plans to make the feature available in more languages, as well as for Google Workspace Business and Enterprise customers, in the “coming weeks.”
ChatGPT can also recall details and settings from previous conversations.
