Full design of the OnePlus 12R global variant

The OnePlus 12 series will be announced worldwide at the end of this month. A fresh leak has revealed the design of the OnePlus 12R, which confirms that it is a rebranding of the Ace 3 model, which was recently introduced in the brand’s home market of China.

The Chinese tech giant is preparing to announce OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R on the global market on January 23, 2024. But ahead of the official release, insider Roland Quandt shared images of the 12R. These high-resolution images offer us a full look at the 12R in blue and black colors. The rear panel houses a large round camera module with a triple camera setup and LED flash. Meanwhile, the front panel features a curved display with a center-aligned perforated hole for the selfie camera.


Volume controls and power buttons are located on the right, and the notification slider is on the left. As a reminder, OnePlus 12R is equipped with a tall 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a peak brightness of 4500 nits, and a resolution of 1.5K. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which is paired with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

A large 5,000 mAh battery powers this device, which supports 100W wired fast charging. Other features include 5G, WiFi 7, an IR blaster, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type C port.
